We’ve worked on improving the lives of over 25,000 Homeless people through direct practice. Homeless people from different backgrounds have a huge impact on us and all our activities. They highlight those parts of the society that are broken, so we can help them in all possible ways to regain hope and flourish in life.

In November 2020, I felt that Getma should focus more on the homeless people in need who live in the USA, specifically in Palm Beach County.

As I Started to share the idea with my husband, he agreed with me whole-heartedly. We then discussed this with some family members and they agreed to assist us as well. Through 'word of mouth' others began to show an interst in helping and supporting our cause.
